York College senior Ray Smith has been named as the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

The York College men s cross country squad had a strong showing at the loaded Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University at Dream Park in Logan Township, New Jersey.

The York College cross country teams both earned All-Academic team honors announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTCCCA) last week. Seven individual Spartans also garnered All-Academic honors.
